Graces
Graces - What do you have that you hold dearly to and protect with all of your life?
saying Dante would just plain be cheating
It is true, though. Vergil will, for all his problems and all the dysfunction of his relationship with his brother, protect his entire family with his life. As far as my Vergil is concerned, he was more than willing to lay down his life purely for revenge because his family meant so much to him and it damaged him that badly with his parents gone and his relationship with Dante seemed irreparable (admittedly mostly because of him).
As it is right now, there’s very little Vergil has that he will protect with all his life, save maybe being willing to get back that amulet at all costs (though in general dying would defeat the purpose of having it — I imagine he’d still be unwilling not to put forth that amount of effort). He would probably protect his sword, the Yamato, with the same vigor if he had it right now.
He also gets pretty protective of whomever might maybe be called a “friend” even though he will very unlikely ever refer to them as such or recognize them as such himself.
also: horses, books (lIBRARIES), and his stuffed dinosaur that he had when he was a kid, but it’s really unlikely anyone would kill him for that kind of thing so

❞ write a quote they would find themselves saying
"If you look at the sky and see a giant piece of rock flying towards you just know that odds of you getting hit is the same as me suddenly disappear- I didn't realize rocks flew that fast...."
world's worst father @akane [event closed]
Much like the rest of Hive City, Gentarou Hongou had found an egg during his travels through the city, and was currently busy taking it back to his apartment. It didn't make sense, really, why things like this would be littered on the ground (apart from a cruel joke by the scientists to celebrate Easter). Still, nonetheless, he was curious, and ended up taking a golden egg home. After holding onto it for a while, he noticed that it had begun to shake, and placed it gently on his bed, not expecting something to emerge from it.
He watched it for quite a while, expecting whatever was inside to slowly crack the shell and burst out. However, what had happened was a bit different; there was a soft glow from the egg that lasted several moments, and when it finally dimmed, something had taken its place on the bed. Golden eggshells surrounded a creature that could definitely not fit in there in any normal circumstance.
So currently, he was staring down at a young girl with brown hair and purple eyes. He had no idea who this child was, or why she had been assigned to him, but he couldn't help but think of how disturbing this whole situation was. Give a man who pushed a girl in an incinerator a child with some of the same physical attributes as her.
It was cruel irony.

"...Just when I think there's peace with you gone you show back up."
He stared long and hard at the girl unexpectedly in the same park as him. He had to be imagining this.
When she didn't disappear after a short time, Liu exhaled uncomfortably and mustered up the effort to speak to her--about as shamelessly as he'd stared. Like he really cared how creepy he might've come off already.
"...Akane Kurashiki? Is this another one of the scientists' tricks?"
Fun Fact
There is an unreleased duet between Edward and Elsa Nancy Tramaine named Enchanted and I need it now.
[ He faced the girl - the one whose voice he will never forget - with a passive expression, hiding the discord and anger churning underneath the blank expression. ]
"Well, well. Akane Kurashiki. I would say what a coincidence, but nothing is a coincidence."
