Hatred kills generosity. Hateful words directed at another diminish feelings of sympathy, making the recipient of such hateful rhetoric unable and unwilling to give.

Unkind comments..

I have gotten back into healthy eating and fitness like never before for the past 2 months. I was super happy to discover that while working out my muscles around my legs were easily defined therefore making me look thicker. I had a pair of pants that I use for work but had not put them on for about 2 months. I wore them for the last time this week because they were extremely tight and literally was walking with them with my top button undone. This is not because I gained fat or anything it is because my fucking ass is bigger and my thighs are not just 'there' anymore. I hand them over to my grandmother because she always sends clothes to Nicaragua or her church. She looked at them and said "You are gaining weight huh"? I said "No, its because I am going to the gym and my pants fit tighter due to muscle around my thighs and butt". She says "I guess". My goodness I know she did not mean any harm but this comment made me upset. 

I know I am becoming healthy for myself and not for anyone else. So just to let out some steam I went up 20 more pounds than usual on the squat machine that day. I kept saying ''Yes my thighs and legs will be beautifully thick and hard because I love it". So say your unkind comments (to anyone else who has them) because your only fueling my engine.
