How would mycroft react to his daughter falling in love and maybe starting a relationship with her female university teacher/professor?
Concerned for her well being and how this might affect her peers opinions on his daughter should word get out.
Mycroft would caution her to wait until she’s done with the professor’s course entirely (as in she doesn’t have to take her ever again) and even then do so discretely until she is well into her 2nd or 3rd term to prevent any allegations of favoritism considering it can not only expel his daughter but have the professor in question fired.
Depending on the professor’s age he may be less accepting (see huge age gap-as in she could have birthed her) but once Mycroft runs the regular background checks that come back clean he will in time warm up to the idea.
Make no mistake Mycroft is going to make sure (just in case!) the relationship goes south to collect as much evidence as he can should his daughter’s graduation be in jeopardy but at least we can say that he does so for her sake rather than his.
I think he’ll be better off once she’s in the last year of uni that Mycroft will be more lack/accepting of the relationship as there will be less to worry about.
