May the Force be with you!
Update
The first chapter of the next Unknown Limits Fic will be up as soon as I’m done writing “The Hawk and the Wolf”. I’m sure no one really cares, but the next and final installment will be called “The Burning Age” and it’ll feature more Poe/Meelan, more Dameron family times, more Bendar family times, some conflict, a couple of Jedi and a Force sensitive Gungan. So sorry about that last bit!

A short story sequel to “Home” for @auroralynne who inspired Meelan’s character development more than anyone!
Thanks to @flausengut for being my beta!

Chapters: 2/2 Fandom: Star Wars, Star Wars - All Media Types, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015) Rating: Mature Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Meelan Bendar/Nataleeh Bendar Characters: Meelan Bendar - Character, Natalaeeh Bendar, Armitage Hux, Hux Summary:
Nataleeh Kafr and Meelan Bendar meet at a ball and there is only one person standing in their way: Hux.
“Would you like to dance?”, Armitage asked and Nataleeh felt the sarcastic smile already on her lips, but she suppressed it as best she could. “Actually,” she said, “Meelan just asked me for the next dance.” She used the first name on purpose, just to aggravate Armitage even further and it worked. She saw with a certain sense of satisfaction that he narrowed his eyes and looked back at Bendar, who was staring at Nataleeh with a confused expression on his face. Before either Armitage or Bendar could say anything else, she grabbed Bendar by the arm, pulling him towards the dance floor and leaving Armitage just standing there. She felt his eyes on her the entire time.
I wrote this some time ago. It was inspired by @auroralynne ‘s wonderful drawings of Meelan and Nataleeh. She brought them to life and actually created Nataleeh! Thank you so much for working on this with me!!
Thanks to @flausengut as well! She’s the best!! <3

He wanted to sleep. But it seemed impossible with the bed next to him empty. The very spot where Finn should be. He felt an exasperated groan building up inside his throat. His mind kept racing for no apparent reason.
It has been seven years since the First Order was destroyed by the Resistance, but Poe Dameron has been unable to fully leave this war behind. Not even Finn seems to be able to calm him down, when the nightmares of war keep him wide awake.
We did it! We just finished the second part of “Unknown Limits”!! Thanks to everyone involved!! It’s done!! A huge thank you to @flausengut and @auroralynne THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Bendar got up, his hands on the table top and his face so close to Poe this time that it felt for a moment like they were back in that cell. Like Bendar was back in control. Poe could almost smell the scent of the hairs on his arms burning again as waves of electricity shot through his body, causing his muscles to contract painfully. Simultaneously he and Finn got to their feet, so they were facing Bendar. Together this time. Poe wasn’t alone anymore. He wasn’t as helpless as he had been back then and for a brief moment he thought Bendar might actually take a step back. But he didn’t. Bendar didn’t even blink. “I believe that we’ll see what is going to happen next, won’t we?”, Bendar said quietly.
It was obvious that he wouldn’t let them go. He couldn’t. Whatever was going on here, couldn’t be brought to the Republic’s attention, if it could be helped. Poe knew it and so did Bendar. With a short nod, Poe managed a cocky smile, though he didn’t feel like it.
“I guess we will, Bendar.”
Chapter 12 is finally up! Thanks again to @flausengut and @auroralynne for everything!!
Thoughts on Writing
The moment you realize that mind reading sequence you just wrote sounds like a really gentle sex scene you didn’t even intend on writing.
