captain 3 my beloved.
- the captain!!! while they’re canonically referred to as they/them in the games i think they wouldn’t mind being referred to as she/they or he/they respectfully depending on what hairstyle you chose for them
- selectively mute. they only talk to marie to translate and to their s/o (if you think they have one). other than that they use sign language (ISL “Inkling Sign Language”? would there be an octoling version?? would the octarian military allow mute or deaf octolings??? so many questions!!)
- very stoic and impassive, with an uninterested resting face but it’s not on purpose. it also carries over at home, but they’re more likely to be more expressive at home/in private
- with that being said, they’d let their s/o play with them. they wouldn’t show any clear emotions but maybe have a small smile and smirk. they’d hold s/o’s hand in their rough palms and rub their thumb against s/o’s knuckles and--!!
- relates to neo 3/new agent 3 as they see themselves in them a little bit, but they don’t feel resentment towards them. kinda like a deep understanding of what they’ve both gone through and provides comfort through a proud nod or a supportive shoulder pat
- s,,, soft kisses.... gentle smooches... only in private though!! no one else can see!! not because they see it as a weakness (maybe they do a little) but because, personally, i don’t think they were able to explore romance when they were younger so they get a little embarrassed being open and intimate like that
a/n: i have found nothing for captain 3 in terms of writings and such (it’s mostly younger agent 3 days on ao3) so i’m hoping to introduce more captain 3 writing on here. also, when i say or mention s/o i mean both ocs and canonical characters. my asks are always open
