wait so i just realized granite probably Knows his mom. how’s his relationship with her? how’s his siblings’ relationship with her?

Grins so wide. I know you just asked for their relationship but here's her life story/silly

Disease loved Granite with all her heart. She put everything into trying to raise him so he could grow up and get a good job to support the both of them. Them, without Twix, Betty, and Baxter. I mean, Granite was her only child that she could guess how to raise. She didn't understand the hellhounds, and really didn't even see them as things with thoughts, so her plan for them was to keep them alive and auction them off when they were bigger.

Granite never cared for his mom all much. He didn't like how much attention she gave him while neglecting his siblings, and didn't ever understand her either. He was horrified when she told him she worked in a hellhound extraction plant, so she responded accordingly and decided to act like she cared about hellhounds more. She never told Granite about her plan to sell his siblings. But he found out, and she was the first person he ever truly hated.

In the end he killed her, and his siblings didn't mind.
