geralt has gotta trust someone so goddamn much before he even considers talking about his past, mainly the trials that gave him his abilities and his eyes. the trials are something that still haunt him, even to this day and it would physically hurt him to talk about... so he just won’t, he doesn’t want too.

So I’ve been listening to an audio drama podcast called Victoriocity and I highly recommend it! It’s about a grumpy detective and an intrepid reporter solving strange conspiracies in steampunky London. It’s impeccably produced, clever and creative, with wonderful characters and an exciting, twist-filled plot.

I totally recommend it for non ship reasons... but there is also a ship in the second season and I want to write fic so much!! Nobody would read it, I have other things I desperately need to write, and the ship is only a small part of the show - but I love the show, and the way I want to express that is via fic! Gah.

So the new year has begun. I don't regret anything because it all happened with a reason. But one thing I really do regret: I regret losing my best friend. No matter what I did and no matter how much I wanted to, she decided to just walk away from me and I couldn't do more than just watching her. If there's one Thing I'd cry for the past year is her. I'm really really gonna miss you, no kidding. You were the only person who knew me and I guess I can never forgive you for leaving me alone. You should have just stayed away if you knew that this would happen. You broke my heart into pieces, darling. And I don't know if it was the beautiful poetic way. It wasn't.
