((I don't think I've gotten around to rping with them yet. But I could be totally wrong since I am the definition of scatterbrained. The Doctor frowned as he looked down at his sonic, the only light on the dark planet. A planet that, as far as he could tell, was deserted. There was nothing but rocks and sand for as long as the eye could see. Save, of course, the occasional single-man ship sticking halfway out of the ground, pieces and parts scattered across the surface.
"You've seen a lot of destruction, haven't you?" the Doctor mumbled as he knelt down to gather a fistful of sand, letting the granules slip between his fingers. "Shame. You used to be such a beautiful planet, if the stories are true."
With a sniff he slowly raised back up, the sound of rocks and dirt crumbling catching his attention. The Doctor squinted and turned his head towards the ridge to his left. "Perhaps you're not so dead after all," he muttered curiously. "Sounds like I'm not the only one paying you a visit."
