I’m glad my parents taught me to be careful who I hang around and that everyone don’t have your best interest at heart and everyone is not your “friend.” By them teaching me this it saved from a lot of situations that could’ve turned out bad. This is a wicked world and it pays to keep an eye on who you keep around you. Not everyone who says they are your friends are your friends. I’ve seen true colors from people I’ve known for years. And it hurts to see someone you’ve once trusted and told everything to turn out to be your worst nightmare. It happens but I’ve grown from it. But it didn’t keep me down because my parents made sure to teach me this growing up that watch who I keep around me and not to call everyone a friend.
