Tsao-Lon liked to believe that after all the obstacles and tribulations he had gone through up until now, there could be anything much worse that he had to go through. After all, what could beat being robbed of his chance at becoming the next Mamodo King and turned into stone, losing a thousand years of his life, then finally being freed from his stony prison only to end up having to be forced into helping another Mamodo become King unless he wanted to go back to be trapped as stone once again? And that wasn't even mentioning the time he spent as a disembodied soul after having his book burned until the most recent battle for King had come to an end.
Nothing. At least, that's what he thought until he started going to school. Honestly, it wasn't even really school he had a problem with. It wasn't like he detested going to school or thought it was boring, and he managed to luck out by getting classmates he liked--well, he liked most of them. No the real problem was the fact he always had to get up early in the mornings for the school, and anyone who knew Tsao-Lon knew he wasn't exactly a morning person. And yet he had the unfortunate habit of waking up earlier than needed in the mornings anyways
Needless to say, it was not the most favorable combination, and it left him grumpy and moody by the time he got to school in the mornings. Today was no exception.
