Martin Scorsese's GOODFELLAS was based upon the book Wiseguy by Nicholas Pileggi; the screenplay for MY BLUE HEAVEN was written by Pileggi's wife, Nora Ephron. Much of the research for both works was done in the same sessions with New York mobster Henry Hill, whose life both movies are based upon. As a result, MY BLUE HEAVEN plays out as a kind of comedic sequel to GOODFELLAS - though GOODFELLAS was released one month later!

here it goes  1st came night of the living dead from that two franchises were made one being the dead franchise (george a romero) and the living dead (John A. Russo/dan o'bannon)..... after that the unofficial zombi saga branches off from a george a romero's dawn of the dead ....  the saga being dawn of the dead, zombi 2, & zombi 3 from there two more yet uofficial sequels branch off from the zombi saga them being zombie 4 after death and zombie 5 killing birds ...... also day of the dead had its own unoffical sequelor prequel ... day of the dead 2 contagium ........... okay   i thats it for now  ill elaborate more on this complicated

dead franchise later :D
