I really love the idea of romanticising life but not in a way perceived on social media where it all feels like a compulsion of looking cute, clicking cute pictures and loving things. Honestly romanticising doesn't mean any of that, it's not about loving things forcefully but about appreciating things. It's about finding beauty in the chaos and celebrating it instead of waiting for a perfect moment or a perfect place. The idea of romanticising life is more about finding moments of peace in your daily life instead of wishing to escape your life. It could be you just drinking a cup of coffee on a morning but without any anxiety in your gut, it could be the colourful sky at the time of sunset, it could be you journaling in your cute diary, it could be the whispers of gentle breeze, it could be a mere look at the sky. Romanticism saves people by actually filling people up with so much of gratitude for everything and everyone.
i'm so scared for my future because what if I feel this way forever
Writing always felt different for me. From that very first time I discovered it, entirely on accident no less. A poetry project for 7th grade English. My classmates would ask me to help with their pieces, how did you write that? How did you know how to say that? How do you choose the words? I had no answers for them. I was not choosing or knowing. I used to say that the pencil moved me, some invisible lips whispered in my ear and I couldn’t ignore it. The words were just there, floating in the space between the desks, in the pause between each pencil scratch, lingering with the dust motes under fluorescent lights, and I only had to let them flow into me. I think, most people, at best, use language as a tool, a weapon, a device. An instrument to meet their needs. I think, at worst, most people are so deaf and blind to the precise meanings, the beauty of a well put together sentence, the intricacies behind one word over another. Everything that lies in wait under the surface of that font. It always bothered me, that writing, that language and words, were so easily counterfeit. It was the only kind of blasphemy I knew. Writing, to me, was a force of nature, an energy, an element, unseen but wielding unmistakable effect, like gravity, woven into the fabric of existence with us. You can’t see it, and most people go their whole lives without realizing it’s really there, let alone how it works, but once upon a time an apple fell on Isaac Newton’s head and nothing was the same after that. And at 13, I could lose myself in the orbit of that great celestial body, I happily let it carry my body across the universe, into the stars. But then you’re not 13 anymore, and even though you promised it wouldn’t, somehow life takes hold. That unheard song, that unseen power, it faded further and further away without me, the more I neglected it, got too busy, put it aside for necessary things. I always thought the stories would leave me one day. That, finally, one day I wouldn’t feel that pull, that ache, in my soul, in the deepest center of my chest, when the story was over. I thought one day I wouldn’t be inhabited by them anymore, if one day I grew to love my life enough, love myself enough. And I do love my life now, and I do love myself the best way I know how, but still, I pick up that book, I watch that movie, I listen to that story, and I’m gone. Each time it’s over, it’s like re-entering Earth’s atmosphere. It’s bittersweet, the love, the longing. I imagine it’s how an astronaut would feel looking at Earth from so far above, captivating and beautiful and terrifyingly alone. You love the view, you love the way it feels, but in a weird way it always makes you miss home, and yet yearn for it once more as soon as your feet touch the ground. I never imagined the stories would keep finding me, across all this time and space.

“I love lilies. Blue lilies but they are so hard to find…”
Were the words that he told me the moment I asked him what he adores the most. It took me a while to make his vision my reality and I am so happy how it turned out.
I know his admiration and love for Vincent Van Gogh, and how he collects every little piece that he finds that resonates with the artist. Because of his biased nature for Vincent’s aesthetics and of course his love for lilies, I crocheted Starry Night themed lily bouquet for him, with two sunflowers that resonates the moon and frame of the painting.
I know he will love this more than anything and I hope to make him smile just the way he will when see these flowers I made for him.
I love you in a way that feels so calm and so sure. It's not loud or showy, it's just there — in how I think of you first thing in the morning, in how everything reminds me of you. It's the kind of love that settled into my bones and decided to stay.
And god, I miss you. I miss the intimacy, not just the big moments but the small ones — your head on my chest, your hand finding mine without even looking, your breath against my skin at night. There's a space beside me that only you can fill, and I feel it every day.
I know the distance is not easy. Some nights it feels heavier than others, and I catch myself reaching for you out of habit. But this distance doesn't make me doubt us, it makes me certain. It proves that what we have isn't just about proximity, it's about connection. It's real.
So here's my promise to you. I will keep showing up, keep loving you through this distance, through the waiting and the missing. No matter how far, I'm yours — completely, faithfully, patiently. And I promise that all of this waiting will be worth it when I finally get to hold you again and not have to let go.

May this year lead me to more paths of love, expansion, and abundance. May my heart and my pockets overflow with the currency of love. May all the love I put into the world multiply and find its way back to me.
May my heart heal
May my skin clear
May my thoughts find peace
May my mind be at ease
May my resentments be released
May I speak to myself with kindness and clarity.
May my mind be a gentle home, my thoughts a loving garden.
May I give myself grace and compassion while also pushing towards expansion.
May I challenge my mind and my body in new ways, while still holding space for mistakes.
May I follow my intuition, wherever she guides me
or leads me away from.
May I trust my inner knowing.
May I fill each room with a gentle confidence.
May I learn to love myself fully.
May I find love even when I feel flawed, even when I feel insecure, even when I want to shrink,
may I find love in those moments and may love find me.
Allow me to release anything holding me back from that.
Release the pain, disappointments, and frustrations. The silent grief I've been carrying. The pain I haven't found the courage to face.
May this be the season where I finally allow the space to purge, to cleanse, to heal and renew.
May this be the year that leads me on a path of health, strength, flow, and gratitude.
May I learn to embody my energy fully.
and so it is
