You said you werent confident about writing kissing, but that was great? So many kiss scenes in fics or books seem too awkward or stilted, but yours flowed nicely and I could actually tell what was meant to be happening. 10/10 (Obviously the entire chapter was incredibly amazing as well)

oh thank you so much!! i literally have no idea how kissing works? ive never kissed anyone and actually sometimes i get uncomfortable reading kissing scenes, so ill just skip them, so whenever i have to write them im like yikes

tbqh, when i was writing that scene i had a few fics and books open to kissing scenes so i could compare because again i had no idea what was happening

That last ask was pretty ridiculous? Like I suppose one shouldn't claim to know everything if they aren't bipolar, but don't write him? That's odd. I feel like there wouldn't be much representation of anything in media of we held all authors to that 'don't write it if you aren't' thing.

i mean i guess that’s true and you’re right but there’s also the assumption that authors do research before writing things they don’t know, or at least the expectation that they do so so that they accurately portray whatever they’re writing about to the best of their abilities. i, for one, do literally no research ever because i am, objectively, the worst and therefore have not done any research on bipolar disorder at all

but literally i’m too tired and apathetic right now to really debate anything so if the anon is telling me to stop writing, guess that’s what’s up
