when you think about it. Toby really took both Chapter 3 and 4 and used em to basically dismantle almost every popular theory the game had up to that point. and did so in a way that made sense. of course that's what happens when people make theories in chapter 2. of 7.
I dunno if he neccessarily used them to debunk these theories, anon. Keep in mind that most people create a whole script BEFORE making a full project (unless your name is Akria Toriyama)-
I think it was moreso the second thing you pointed out. People made theories based on the information we had from 2 chapters. There is no way to call anything or string together a coherent theory with only 28.57...% of the game done. That is insanity. (Same way how it is insane to base a comic on that!)
I really think Toby just just straight-up continued building his game based on his vision and then poked fun at us by implimenting the Mike segment.
Of course I can't speak for him in that regard. I only get a FRACTION of the theory insanity thrown at me that Toby has to deal with on a daily basis. But based on my experience, I just let you guys keep throwing around crazy guesses and I keep going down the path I laid out. Pretty sure it's no different for Toby.

Usually Alpha is in charge of thinking of comics. I merely pitch in with my own ideas here and there and provide canon council.
But in general this is Alpha's blog. He is the ringmaster of this circus.
He and I will typically discuss anything that involves the Twin Runes side of things in terms of comic ideas. He doesn't do anything with that side unless he has my approval.
But since he's currently pretty busy paying bills all I can really say on that matter is...

Sometimes when I’m tired and can’t sleep for some reason, I’ll load up a really small canvas and just make an animatic. Nothing will likely ever come of what I sketch here, but hey, Twin Roomies content, even if it is just some silly doodles! See, I remember them! They won’t leave me alone, they tell me to do things, terrible things, like drink water and sleep at a reasonable hour. Scary, but don’t worry, I don’t listen to them!

PSA: DUBBIN' N STUFF
Hey, ya'll! Alpha here, with the permission of Akane as well, so imagine they're here in spirit, like a force ghost, but alive (not allowed back in for a while, I would have SHARED the jerky if they asked but I digress...) Hey, so, even when Akane draws a comic on Twin Roomies, the FAQ states that you need to be asking permission over here to dub these comics! I won't be naming names, because that's rude and the person who caused this message did a LOVELY JOB and I would NEVER bring down the hammer without being abundantly clear about these things, and in this situation I DO think it was unclear! The reasons why we ask you to ask over here are as follows:
I'm the primary artist on this side-comic, and I want people to ask for permission before running off with my stuff so I have the right to say "no" (not that I plan to)!
Unfortunately, Twin Runes itself has had some problems with AI dubbing and stolen content, even FROM the voice actors (there's a BilliBilli upload of both ParaMasquarade and My Dub that switches between our audio intermediately!)
I like to know when you all are doing stuff so I can promote it / give you extra resources! The Cobumbo video for instance has an entire FOLDER of resources including the foley track, subtitle tracks, and a raw version of the video you get when you ask for permission so everyone has the same quality base! I will be editing the FAQ to reflect more accurately the "rules of engagement" over here, but these are both Akane and my own wishes for the comic over here, okay? AGAIN, don't panic or fret if you mess up on it, we're not here to beat anyone with sticks, but you know, we reserve the right to if we think you intentionally ignored our request, or we find out you're making money off our shit! This message also only applies to Twin Roomies, not Twin Runes or anything posted on over there (unless stated directly otherwise by Akane), I do not speak for that account!
