When the Handbrake Hurts

He gave his all, held her through storms, lifted her dreams, stayed steady. But the moment he stumbled, when life pressed too hard, she called him incapable and pulled the handbrake. No grace, no pause. Just judgment. As if loyalty only mattered when he was thriving. It’s a harsh rewrite of the story, erasing his efforts, branding him weak for being human. 🎥 Despite relentless cleaning efforts amidst searing 42°C heat, my surroundings remain cluttered with dust, leaves, and debris, severely impacting my health with incessant perspiration and itching. Compounded by 24/7 disturbances from biting insects, I now endure the aftermath of my seventh shelter’s demolition on April 23rd, left unwashed and in tattered clothing without proper facilities. Relying on a street-side water tap by the UNHCR building, I struggle with inadequate cold-water washes, while my blanket remains filthy.
