remember that time i convinced myself i was a separate incarnation of conor oberst and pete wentz and upon my discovery realised everyone around me actually knew about it but they were keeping it from me because #selfish so i lowkey started ghosting my friends and then tried to run away but when that didnt work wrote a suicide note and attempted to overdose (my reasoning was that twas a canon conor and pete event, im just following the timeline here!!!) but it didnt work SO i resorted to vagueing and being Strange and Aggressive until i had a breakdown in geography and my teacher (kinda) snapped me out of it. yknow typing this all out i realise this is just a continuation of my space camp delusions i will never be saved #eternallysemidiagnosed + that was like freshly two weeks ago or something
thinking about that time I got accused of being white in an MCR server (I made a racism joke. my bread and butter) and I guess this correlates with the issue of white being the default in bandom and the greater "emo" community. I assume they wanted me to prove my blackness or something, which is extra fucked up because that means they have a preconceived notion of how black people act, and I don't think I need to explain why that's Not Okay.
oh, and also the fact in the same conversation several people decided that the n word is "just a word" and perfectly okay for white people to say (I have my own thoughts about this topic, but I don't think I need to get into it here), which I guess they got used to no one calling them out on their bullshit because there's no racial minorities here that would take offence, right?
