Youtube Horror, Oddities and Mysteries that I can’t recommend enough
KillerOrangeCat: reads scary "true" stories but only ones sent to him and nothing found on reddit, so theyre all original. He has a really endearing kind of voice and narration style to me personally, because it’s distinct with a personality but not too polished, although it might not be for everyone, and he has good taste on which to cover.
TheLittleFears: also reads stories that i think are her own, some are her own. again not just a letsread. They are just EXTREMELY well written and engaging to me and just eerie. Great voice. She is, if anything, an artistic project and less said is more.
BedtimeStories does bizarre, unsolved paranormal, criminal or simply mysterious events for history. They cover some less and more well known things in incredible detail and the most engaging polished writing I have ever seen in this kind of “Unsolved Mysteries” channel, but less truecrime and more X-files.
DowntheRabbitHole and AtrocityGuide do also very obscure, much more isolated and niche bizarre events from recent history, usually involving strange people or groups of people who have published mysterious or complex writing, art or websites and forums online. They are more amateur/low-budget than BedtimeStories but cover very obscure and vastly interesting events and people.

Scary Fairy Godmother I go here for an entirely different vibe. I like her goth girl vocal fry and the way she makes me feeling I’m uncovering a hidden world of the unknown with a true sense of wonder and stories that tend towards creative writing vibes. I listen to her Scary Fairy Bestiary to truly learn a ton about folklore around the world. There are so many fairy-like creatures in the world with their own unique legends and beautiful/strange appearances and traits. The lore is so rich
Hood Horror is the last true storyteller on youtube. Rather than reading from a script, his channel is unique for taking a bullet pointed story overview and retelling it in his own way using his own flair, elaboration and details. Others are his own personal experiences with plenty of exposition. It truly feels like sitting around a campfire or talking to friend. I think his creativity and the knowledge that his stories are all a mix of facts, hearsay and his own embellishments keep me guessing. Plus I like his personality. There are more of his stories on a collaboration channel
Shrouded Hand has a little of it all on his channel. What I love most is that his videos titles may appear to be the same old cliché topics, but time and time again he has found content that even a seasoned creepy internet lover like myself had never heard of. I can always count on him to bring me the obscure and subtly eerie. He is down to earth about his skepticism, and presents any supernatural or unexplained content for its effectiveness at telling a story and chill factor alone. A favorite of mine is his bad datura trip readings. Another guy with a great voice cadence and a great personality.
Blue Spooky has a nice narration style for simple reddit scary story readings. My fave thing is when he does creepypasta readings. I think he picks out good fiction
Mr. Ballen at first it seemed like he was repeating old material, but I’ve noticed him branch out a lot and his story telling style is also really organic and engaging. Sometimes he will do photos or videos with scary backstories that i have never heard of!
