Carnival Cruise Line - Should You Go?
I recently took a cruise aboard Carnival Cruise Line and has left Miami and visited San Juan, St. Maarten and St. Thomas. The trip was a day July 7 night cruise and also many things to do. Here's what I experienced. The first thing is to get on the ship. You have to go through security and get your picture taken before boarding. This picture is encoded on your card pass. You can use this card to return to the ship after your base for exploring the islands. You can also use the card for shopping and ordering drinks on board. When you get to your room, your luggage is already waiting for you when you arrive. So, you board the ship without difficulty with your luggage which is great You can get a room inside the middle of the ship -! No windows. Or you can get a room with a window - rip off. Or you can get your own private balcony - worth it. If you can afford, get a room with a balcony. This makes the trip even more fun. I promise.Excursions are fun mini vacation away from the ship that gives you the feeling of really living things new and different. For example, you can go kayaking in a certain place in the ocean and the creatures of the sea bioluminescent experience Or you can go wherever you Snuba walk on the ocean floor with a breathing tube easier and safer. Sure, you can go sailing and snorkeling in but I think you should do something you've never done before or can not do anywhere else. To help you, please get on their site and book your excursions a week before a case was scheduled leave.Dinner and was told to sit down with a group of people. At first I did not want to sit with strange people, I do not know but it ended up being one of my favorite aspects of travel. My wife and I met intelligent people and fun and had a good time. When you eat at nice restaurant and they bring the lobster and you feel like another, just ask your server and it will bring you another. It's that simple. No additional service charge.Room - are expected to tip your waiters and other staff to wait so be prepared. When we ordered room service, it took about twenty minutes for them to bring us our food, but was included in the cruise - no extra charge for what we ordered. The only thing was the extra edge for the casino staff. The wait is nice but it has no card room. Apart from that it has been shown in the large theater nice. The were okay, I'm not much for musicals and Las Vegas style entertainment, but they were not bad. We had a magician one night and it was incredible. My favorite part about great theater is that during the day, they have bingo. I usually hate bingo, but the staff makes it fun and it only costs $ 20 per card. The bars around the ship are nice but one in particular was very upscale and seemed to have all the top shelf liquor you can imagine. They even had a nice selection of cigars. The bars were pretty tables and leather chairs surrounding a string quartet that plays three every night cruise 7pm.The worthwhile and I recommend it to anyone going on a cruise first, but I must say Carnival cruise line discount compared to Norwegian or Royal Caribbean - but again, you'll pay a premium for a luxury cruise line.
