Twin Verse

Plotted and discussed with @hxroics, just posting some data about my Todoroki:

Name: Shojirou (”He who carries flame”)

The ‘older’ twin by scant minutes

Like Shouto, shares burn scars across the temple rather than fully around and on the eyes (from protecting one another from Rei)

Much more physically and vocally aggressive than Shouto, tends to leap down people’s throats and perceives bad intentions first rather than giving others the benefit of the doubt/defaulting fellow humans to ‘inherently kind/caring/good’

Physically near identical to Shouto, except their features are mirrored (hair and eye heterochromia are reversed)

Shares borderline unhealthy co-dependency with his twin since they managed to survive and endure thanks to each other, but he’s also more noticeably resistant to the concept of accepting that he and Shouto are allowed to have separate lives and interests

On a related note, sense of self and self-worth stems heavily from being his twin’s ever vigilant guardian/protector, so not feeling ‘needed’ anymore as they grow up and develop more differences bothers him deeply- He isn’t sure what he wants or who he really is apart from Shouto and wants that sort of dynamic back no matter what he might say to the contrary

Less forgiving in general, Shouto remains very attached and forgiving of Rei while Shojirou’s faith in all adults and authority figures pretty much evaporated and he strongly believes they can only ever trust or rely on each other from an emotional standpoint

Holds grudges like whoa, anger issues that need addressing/healthier ways of release, bark is just as bad as his bite

to say he’s a bit anxious would be more than just an understatement. the two haven’t seen each other for years now but he has been coming into cafe leblanc every day since he’s been back in tokyo. he didn’t know the one he’d longed to see after all this time had all but gone off back to his hometown, and if he’s being honest, he was disappointed to say the least. but relieved, as well. considering how things had been left off after the incident, he doesn’t know if the phantom thief wants to even see him again. it’d be reasonable if he doesn’t, goro has been telling himself, but the thought stings more than he’d like to admit. moreover, he’s assuming that sojiro wasn’t informed about the incident because the man has been welcoming him in every time he steps foot into the little cafe. he’s been acting as if things are still okay, as if goro hadn’t majorly fucked up. he can’t say if he’s grateful for that or not. sojiro, however, was kind enough to tell him that akira was coming back today. for a visit, he presumes, and he hopes it’s a long one. and so he’s sat waiting anxiously, tapping his fingers against the side of his coffee cup. he’s looking down at his reflection, and he can see just how pathetic it looks. he composes himself again like he usually does, shoving his emotions deep down. he shouldn’t look so worked up.
