Valentina looked at her scroll when there was a message on it. She tilted her head to the side and then stood up from her bed. She glanced up at the time and then smiled some. The message said that she was going to meet someone who was to help her get accustomed to Beacon and help her in any way she needed it. It also included a location and time to meet them at.

She slowly began to head to the location, knowing she’d get there early, but she was eager to meet this person. Plus, she still was really nervous about being the team leader as she had never led a team before. 

She entered the gazebo and then sat down on one of the benches, smiling.

Orma was in daydreaming, as usual, on this stretch of highway as she traveled. She had not seen a single soul for hours, so she believed it would stay this way. That was until she nearly taken out by a motorcycle and it’s now flying driver. She yelped as it passed her leaving her unscathed. It took a few moments for her to open her eyes, realizing she had not passed on to another life, and when she did she immediately searched for the driver. Once locating them, she rushed over, panicking. 

“Are you ok?!?”

Being on the road on your own was tough, but not something Creed was unused to, it just got hard sometimes since it was almost a constant since the fall of Beacon. Having gotten separated from the rest of his team during the evacuation, when they finally got ahold of each other again they formed a plan to meet up in a village in Vale. In the meantime, he had joined a caravan headed in the same direction he was, offering himself out as added protection in trade for supplies.

He found himself now wandering the streets of the small port town they had made a pit stop in. He ended up stopping in front of a smithy, remembering hearing word about an excellent engineer/smith that supposedly worked in the town. Creed would pause for a moment before entering the shop, perhaps it was time for an upgraded weapon, especially with how aggressive the Grimm were beginning to get.

Finally, back home in Mistral. It felt like it had been decades since Viola had been home in her own apartment. It was such a refreshing summer night, too. She was enjoying the cool midnight breeze as she sat next to a window in her kitchenette, hot chocolate in hand.

CRASH! The noise had come from her bedroom and she shot up from her seat in the kitchen. Who would break in here? This was the fifth floor!

Grabbing a kitchen knife, she slowly approached her bedroom. Of course, she had left her weapons in there, so this was the only defense she had against the intruder unless she went through them to get them.

The door opened slowly with a loud creak, knife in front of her and expression as serious as it ever got. Then she caught sight of the intruder and her expression went from serious to furious.

“Roarke! What are you doing breaking into my place at this hour?!” Viola yelled, completely forgetting that she lived in an apartment complex and shouldn’t be yelling so late at night. “I have a door, you know!”
