I'm going to be honest, I don't know how to feel about Until Dawn 2. Plus it looks like they went that "Dr Hill entity" route from the movie which makes me feel even more iffy about it... How do you guys feel?

I cannot believe after all of these years jossam is possibly coming back to me. I WILL get that endgame do you hear me
Genuinely curious, what do you guys think about Dr. Hill being a supernatural entity now?
I love it!
I hate it!
I'm on the fence about it still...
I want to know what you guys think so let me know! I'm not the biggest fan of it. I still think he was a real guy in the OG game and these games feel more like a seperate universe or something. But how do you guys feel about the change? And hey, if you feel differently than me, try to change my mind! I would love to feel more excited about this change lol.
I know a lot of people hope for the OG Until Dawn cast to show up in the sequel, but honestly, I hope they don't. I hope they don't expand any of the original game's plot like they so poorly tried to do with the movie. It will just ruin it. If they make it a standalone, that would be better and it would put less pressure on the game to live up to the original game. But Dr. Hill is already in it seemingly as an entity so my hopes are faltering a fair bit....
A plot they could do with this "scar's awakening" could be similar to that of Supernatural, Underworld, Van Helsing, Kingdom Hearts, and Cloak and Dagger.
Let's say that the ending where Sam and Mike are the sole survivors is canon. The mark Sam has can be the sign of a demonic presence, necromantic forces, vampiric/lycanthropic aspects, and negative energies. Mike, on the other hand, could have an affinity for holy and positive energies, life aspects, and solar forces.
The players can decide to have Sam and Mike despise each other, just be platonic friends, or be carnally driven lovers. But, more than that, we should decide if Sam will overpower the dark forces or let them consume her. Mike could save her or destroy her. Vice versa should be optional too.
In the end, they can reject their extraordinary connections or embrace/utilize them.
Recasting Until Dawn or how Until Dawn 2 could look like
Feel free to discuss
Do you want Supermassive to work on Until Dawn 2, or should they focus wholly on something new?
