I’ve downloaded the first 2 seasons, but haven’t gotten around to watching them yet. And yes, I agree. The later seasons weren’t that great anymore.

Not to build it it up, but early ER is excellent. Very different from what it became by the time Alex joined, though. Dealt heavily with social issues like poverty, violence, AIDS, the healthcare system, et cetera. Far less personal drama. So. Good.

I just have the seasons with Corday. It’s terrible, but I can’t stand the show without her.

!!! Oh, no! I love the first 3 seasons! Though I must admit I’m glad Corday left when she did, because the show was really starting to suck.

Oooh, niiiice! Not sure if I’ll bother with 12 through 15. I have all of them, but they’re just on an external hard drive & were obtained in an unsavory manner. Now I can watch the DVDs and be on my computer. And not feel as guilty.

NOT stupid. i was telling my sister about this whole situation last night and was reliving how amazing/hilarious it was!

Perhaps she contemplated a dip in the pool, realized upon arrival that was a terrible idea, & then went “Well, if I packed it I may as well wear it!”

A waste of Alex’s talent >_>

Well... Maybe. The size of her role is pure speculation on my part & is based on both her absence from any info on the show as well as it having such a large cast that most of the roles are small, especially for those playing lawyers. It gives a “cog in the machine” effect that I actually quite like. 

That being said, there’s still, I suppose, no guarantee she’s on the show. I’m thinking she is because when I was in Dallas I heard her say (at the autograph table) she was filming “Odyssey” in NYC. Then there was the photo of her filming in (at?) Bowling Green that a passerby took, a report of that being A.O.’s filming location for that particular date, and the bts photo of her in that same costume standing on her mark beside Peter Facinelli. It’s not on imdb regular or pro, but imdb is SUPER unreliable. It’s not on her CV with her agency, but then again it hasn’t aired, so I don’t know when/how that gets updated. So... I do not know, officially, that she’ll be on American Odyssey, but that feels like some pretty strong evidence. And, of course, so so so much of what gets filmed never makes it to the screen, which would stink for us buuuuut she gets paid either way.

Of course I’d LOVE to see her doing more work, especially that which utilizes her talent. (aka not Arrow) But she seems to be on a massive con binge so... Yeeeeah. I’m just hoping we don’t have to wait until, like, 2017 (speculation) for Macbeth to get something of decent quality and quantity!

Has Alex been in an episode yet?

Not yet, no, but I’m actually quite enjoying it for what it is* and look forward to watching it weekly; the pace is nice and fast and you have to pay attention the entire time, so it’s a nice change from, like every fucking thing else on tv. Still hoping Orla Brady’s character returns and if Alex shows up (things can always be cut) I’m suspecting she’s just another lawyer with not much of a role.

*I was expecting it to be less about men and more about Odelle? But it primarily focuses on the male cast with wimpy female supporting characters. Meh. Odelle kinda gets on my nerves, to be honest, so perhaps her not being on screen as much as I expected isn’t really a bad thing. Maybe people aren’t watching because they think it’s actually focused on a woman? Or the’re not watching because they thought the gender balance would be better & it’s not? Who knows.

Agreed! Though I must confess I haven’t watched or listened to it since before seeing it in New York; can’t bring myself to tamper with my memories of that run!
