I will continue to do my part re: addressing and facilitating the eradication of HIV/AIDS stigma. Stigma continues to play a flagrant role in the transmission of this infectious; yet, preventable virus. Until we universally accept HIV/AIDS is an equal opportunity, human infection and doesn't discriminate against it's host, we will continue to experience disproportionate rates of infection in various populations, globally. Additionally, prevention and treatment services should responsively reflect the various cultural and social populations being served. Although I'm HIV negative, I remain POSITIVE and hopeful about the global prognosis of this disease. If you don't KNOW your status, get tested! Additionally, assess your personal risks to inform your behavior and decisions to keep yourself and others "safer". Because "We Are ALL the FACE of HIV/AIDS, Afro Folk Art by freedom clay will donate 10% of their proceeds from ALL sales generated today to a local non-profit providing supportive and treatment services to persons living with HIV/AIDS. I do have a limited number of merchandise available with my creation on it.
