I used to not understand the idea of "the one that got away" when I was younger until I got older and experienced it in my own way. You can fall for a person so badly but not be able to mention your feelings to them because you don't want to scare that person away. So you keep it quiet and hidden from the world but it never satisfies anything because you just don't know and you are afraid to know the answer, so you keep it to yourself and suffer even though you like this person so much. Then you can write all the love poems you want but never mention their name when people ask who it might be because you don't people to hint to them or tell them since you're so afraid of rejection that it hurts every time you breathe. By the end of it all, you feel so sad because they were the person you dreamed to come into your life to sweep you off your feet before you even met them and now they are gone like the wind only leaving their marks in your memory of all the times you spent together. And now you can't tell if you would have been better off telling them and getting rejected or telling them and have a small chance of them saying they felt the same because sometimes ignorance is not bliss and you have to know the answer. In some way, in your mind, they were the one that got away.

Untold Love - Will Avery Everyone probably has an "untold love". I think I just finished college when I wrote this home recording of a pop song with vocals... (please forgive the vocals. imagine your favorite singer performing it) But the sentiments ring deep in the first verse...

Our First Time (My Version)

Does he remember the first time we met?

Well, I do.

It was in the hallway in front the our classrooms. 

Our eyes met. I smiled, the I saw he did the same as the reply. Nothing happened after that.

Couple weeks later, I was using the small classroom when he came to do prayer. Then I warmly told him that I was going to leave soon and he could use the room in 1 minute. Then he just said OK. Period. 

Those two accidental meetings made me wondering about him. 

“Why he is so quiet?”

“Does he find hard to make friend with me? But why?”

But the thing I did not realize since beginning was that the reason why I kept wondering. I really want to start the conversation with him without any particular reason.

Was I already fall him you since our first meet?

Was it the reason why I can not let you go until now?
