nancy sighed as she watched the other boy slowly move his arms as he raised his finger to her face. most of the serum had been burned off since the ambulance had brought him to the hospital, but the drugs they had pumping through his system now was what was keeping him a little loopy and if it had been anyone else, she probably would have been a bit more irritated.

however, after the night they had, she couldn't bring herself to be.

the grin ghosted her face as she reached up and lightly took his hand in her grip in response to his words. "thank you, but i'm more concerned with you and how you're feeling." his parents still hadn't come by, and thankfully she managed to convince her mom that he needed her there so she was able to stay.

"we need to figure out how to get you home...i dont want you to be by yourself."
