I just sent the last sentence of Unusual Strings to @mostlyjustgoose! We just need to put together the last chapter and proofread/edit it and then we can post it and it is DONE! Seven years of writing it! Holy flipping gosh!!!
....and then we can start on the sequel which will hopefully not take us another seven years though if it does I will nonetheless enjoy the hell out of it!

Oh lord, I realized that in the Good Omens Reverse AU @mostlyjustgoose and I have written we actually include 1) two people getting caught in a rainstorm and one looks at the other and realizes they're in love, AND 2) a ball being the catalyst for things moving on to the next stage, AND 3) a grabbing "I have to tell you how I feel before you go and don't know another way to do it" lipsmash kiss. I FEEL SO FRIKKING CALLED OUT NOW.
We are finally working on it again, for those of you who read it. Hopefully there's or four more chapters to go and that'll bring part one to a close. :)
(at least our version has WAY less angst, more unicorns, and even more gratuitously saving kids?)

This is from Unusual Strings, the reversal AU I'm writing with my friend Goose, who has similarly gone Kermitflail with delight. For reasons that have less to do with Plot and more to do with Caligula, Crowley and Aziraphale are dressed as Diana and Apollo.
