             “  why  are  you  helping  me?  ”  brows  narrow  in  suspicion  of  the  other,  arms  crossing  over  her  chest  in  a  bid  to  solidify  how  little  she  trusted  him.  “  you  don’t  exactly  look  like  you  run  to  people’s  aid  out  of  the  goodness  of  your  heart.  it’s  not  rainbow  and  puppy  season,  either.  what’s  your  deal?  ”

           boots  crunch  upon  the  soil  as  they  walk  through  the  forest,  body  finally  relaxing  as  she  breathes  in  the  fresh  air.  looking  around  inspired  a  few  thoughts.  it  wasn’t  that  she  didn’t  want  to  be  here,  or  that  her  company  wasn’t  the  best  ---  it  just  seemed  that  curiosity  won  out  in  the  end  and  so  she  puts  forward  a  question.  “  why  did  you  bring  me  here?  ”  it’s  simple  enough,  brows  furrowing  slightly  as  she  perches  herself  down  on  a  nearby  log.
