❛ Wait, what? Where did you hear that at? ❜
“Well, mother is very vocal about her lusts while she is soaking in the tub in her powder room.” Carmelita winked, crossing her legs dainty as she slowly sipped rhubarb soda from a margarita glass

* just leaves Carmelita her favorite cake and tea *
“Why are you doing this?” The girl huffed, arms folded across her body as she stared at the tray in front of her. Steam billowed from the porcelain tea pot, matching delft china waiting to be filled with the hot liquid. The cake was enough to entice her, lips licking at the sight, moist vanilla cake smothered in bright pink, strawberry frosting.
‘ it’s beautiful out today . ’ the smallest of smiles graces kit’s features as she glances at jacquelyn , her dark eyes lighting up ever so slightly . ‘ i wish you could take me upstate to that little place you would tell me about when you’d sense that i’d want to escape . ’

"Jacqueline." Olivia greeted the other volunteer with a pleasant smile. "It's been some time." She said, sitting down across from the secretary in the small café space they had decided to meet in. Setting her purse down in her lap, the former librarian leaned forward in her seat. Her expression became a little more serious as she spoke in a hushed voice. "You probably know why I'm here. Have you heard any news of the Baudelaires or Quagmires?"
" R, Can I give up now? " (me sending you something random because we have no threads. Yes. Yes indeed.)
“No. We can never give up,” she said, her head rising from her hands. It hurt her to see her associates so down and willing to give up. They were close to finishing this. But she understood them, Frank wanted to give up too. She didn’t know how much longer they could keep doing this.
“I know that it’s hard. Believe me, I do. But we need to stick together. If we give up, our enemies win, and our departed associates will have died for nothing. Our children won’t be safe if we don’t keep fighting. We can’t leave this mess to our children, letting the world burn because we refuse to keep fighting.” I’ll keep fighting until Beatrice is avenged.
“Am I in the right classroom?”
“If you’re looking for the classroom where we will have to dissect a frog eventually, yes you are. Hi, I’m Olivia Caliban,” she said, offering the other girl a smile as she shut the novel she was reading.

Jacquelyn .
He follows the utensil’s path as it hovers briefly through the air and then clatters on the floor. It was obvious that her foul mood was a direct reaction to something of his doing. Eyebrows furrowed, puzzlement and perplexity tinting his features as he studies her. The acidity of her manner and the pauses preceding the former librarian’s name seemed to hint at the root of her anger. Did she not approve of them being together? And exactly how aware of their relationship was she? “We should talk,” he finally speaks. “Over tea. Chamomile, preferably. ---Show me to the kitchen.”
