unzipswig replied to your post: me, thinkin about the way fugo was raised:...
put your phone down youre brutal
you’re not my real dad
@unzipswig replied to your post “what if a part 6 fugo was sent to the gdsp in order to investigate...”
Thst could be why gip and co were in florida in part 6
what if fugo was really good at communicating back with gio and the squad while he was in prison...and then he wasn’t.
i’ll write about fugo having to deal with jail house lock and writing down everything he deems important along the margins of books and stuff OOOH I’LL CRY
If there was anything he disliked, it was jobs on Passione’s own turf. Always so many complications branches and channels of communication. La Squadra wasn’t supposed to be known, so he wasn’t going to have the soldato’s and lieutenants stationed at the gang-owned casino turn a blind eye.
God, wasn’t it Polpo himself that wanted this job done? Formaggio didn’t know -- Risotto was the only one that had contact with the Boss in order to know these sorts of things. Even then, it was hardly contact.
He wiped a hand down his face. He was getting sidetracked. The biggest obstacle right now was Bruno Buccellati. Take care of him somehow, slip something into his target’s drink and maybe he could even make it home to watch football.
Dropping his cigarette to the back alleyway’s floor, he crushed it underfoot and stepped back inside the casino, green-eyes scanning the variety of neon-bright slots, smooth gambling tables and trying to pick out that familiar white suit. No reason to believe he’d be wearing it now, but the picture of him had him wearing it, so it was a start.
He spotted him by the bar, though he isn’t sure if he was just passing by or staying for a drink. Only one way to find out.
Formaggio headed over towards him, hands shoved into his pockets, only pulling them out to lean over the bar counter. He cleared his throat to grab his attention first, before asking;
“ -- Can I buy you a drink?”

‘ i am not a good person. don’t pretend i am. ’
Words stalled in the well of his throat; parted lips falling closed as blue-eyed gaze scrutinizes the face of the older man. Stoic to a fault ( something they both shared, perhaps ) but still finding it impossible to hold back the arch of golden brows before his expression neutralized.
“Ah..”
His gaze left Buccellati’s then, taking interest in the patterned glass in his hands that housed his water, the corners of his lips upturning as he considered his words.
“Our definitions of what makes a person ‘good’ is subjective, isn’t it? Perhaps in the eyes of the law you might be just another no good gangster that happens to be slightly higher up the food chain than your average soldato they’ll find on the streets -- ” A pause, then an amendment, with a index finger pointed from his glass towards the man in gesture; “ --If they were ever in a position of catching you.”
“The point is, I don’t pretend anything, Buccellati. Call it childish if you will, but I think you’ll be disagreeing with more than just my voice on the matter.” Not that Giorno had knew enough of Bruno’s squad to make that call, but the challenge was set and he’d take being proven wrong in stride. If and when it happened.

『BABY FACE』
How unfriendly this Capo is! Better yet, is it giving Melone a sick kick to receive such a reaction? He’s even grinning ear to ear.
Goodness, he’s so used to an attitude from others! Just look at his who his teammates are! The lavender-haired assassin hardly flinches when receiving lip or being cursed at. Hell, threats to his own life makes him giggle now. Perhaps he’s around Ghiaccio far too much--
❝Aha, I’m sure Risotto would love to hear it from the man himself instead of a messenger. He’s so PERSONABLE, after all.❞
That was complete and utter sarcasm laced within a silky voice. Melone ended up letting out a delighted sigh as he tilted his head, studying Bruno as if it was the most interesting person he has ever met. In reality, he was accessing information he could gain from mere looks alone. His DNA would be so FABULOUS for Babyface. That black-haired man must be the ‘father’ of his next Junior. Well, well. Seems like the hitman now has a mission!
❝Accompany me, Bruno Bucciarati. We haven’t been able to chit-chat much at all. Not ever since the funeral of Polpo occurred.❞
Melone stated as he walked in a quick pace to be able to catch up with other. He held up gloved hands to show he didn’t have any sort of weapon on him. Mafia men are always so CAUTIOUS! Can’t they have a nice CONVERSATION without assuming one another has alternative motives?
...Even though that’s exactly what’s occurring on his side.

Only after the fight with the Boss did Narancia start to view Bruno in a more healthy light. Before then, Narancia was obsessive over the idea of Bruno and not Bruno himself. Coming back from that fight just changed a whole lot for him, with how he views things and interacts with the world around him. Flaws glossed over became apparent as the pedestal was knocked down to see that Bruno is just an average person like anyone else.
With how oblivious Bruno can be to certain things, Narancia’s crush on him was never noticed in the two years time that they were around each other. The only one that matches Bruno’s obliviousness is Fugo. Narancia never spoke up on the matter, but it’s kind of obvious if you’re watching them together in the same space. The crush died during the recovery from the mess of events they were involved in.
Bruno is the last person in the gang to know anything about Narancia and his past. It was never brought up, and Narancia didn’t want to talk about such a low point with his idol and just kept to himself on it. Not to mention that Bruno’s views on blood family clash with Narancia’s since Narancia just wants his father to get his dues.
Narancia gave up his life for Bruno in spirit ever since every single thing that was done for a guy that had given up on living any longer. He would do anything that Bruno asked him to do, follow him anywhere as the guy that’s his hero and without a mark in his eyes. With that dependency, it left him a wreck on the stairs between choosing to stay with Pannacotta or go with Bruno who had his trust. That dichotomy nearly got him frozen in place until he made a decision based on something divorced from both Bruno and Pannacotta.
