The lavender-haired child lifted his head upon hearing approaching footsteps. Expressionless, he hardly paid mind to the other. Melone was rather reserved. He doesn’t like to waste his breath or efforts. Avoiding interaction, when possible, was more in his comfort zone. It didn’t change with this person. They are no exception. Instead, he continued to play with the stick that he found nearby the grove of trees. The young boy repeatedly drew a line in the dirt as entertainment. When realizing the stranger wasn’t going to leave his presence, the one eye that wasn’t covered by bangs flickered upward. A soft-voice followed in finally addressing the nuisance. 

❝If you’re looking for mama or papa, they are both busy. Return some other time.❞

With that said, he figured he solved the issue at hand. Why else would anyone come around to the usually rambunctious household? Most neighbors avoided his residency. The eccentric nature both his parents held, in other words, scared off locals. It’s lucky for them that his caretakers are both skilled in the craft they do. Otherwise, they would be totally isolated. Not that it bothered him in the slightest. The less people to deal with, the better. Still, sometimes it would be nice to have a playing partner. With that idea in mind, Melone tilted his head and spoke once more.

Outright strange to be asked about her affliction with another person. Even if she knew this ‘Kira’, why would she tell this girl about their relationship? Hell, this is the first time she has left her house in a good while. Groceries aren’t going to buy themselves. The only people she really interacts with nowadays is her son and ‘husband’. 

This conversation made her uneasy. Her brows furrowed as hazel-colored eyes flickered off-ward to the side. Perhaps she should cut it short and hurriedly make it to the store like she planned on originally. No reason to allow someone to pry.

Squalo retorted, feeling himself getting worked up over being asked for his opinion on the matter at hand. Without his usual work partner, the red-head was at a LOST. Tiziano is the one who makes the calls. He liked it that way, too. Just hatching an idea on how to sneakily dispose of the once living gave him a headache. 

The guard is FAR too impatient for such a task!
