My cultural flower dance outfit for Robin (Dutch ancestry)
Her outfit is based on the traditional folk costumes of Urk, a fishing village in the Flevoland Province of the Netherlands. Each Dutch region and village has it's own unique traditional dress with distinct meaning behind each element. The black base of Robin's bonnet means she's a married woman.
Interestingly enough, there is major celebration in Holland called the "Tulip Time Festival", where dancers adorn the traditional outfits from all 12 provinces and come together to dance publicly in the streets.
Her outfit is based on the traditional folk costume of Urk, with more white incorporated into her design to match the traditional SDV Flower Dance dress.
I think I'm gonna do some CAS backgrounds because most of the ones I see do not remove that circle at the bottom where the sim stands and it drives me nuts, so of course I have to make my own. Wow run on sentence FTW? Lmao.
Guys, look what I did! Someone showed me how and now I can make custom loading screens! Yay!!! I am doing some in simending’s palette for now, and then who knows...lol.
I forgot I have a sims cloud account. xD So uploading files there too as an option. :)
Hope you are all doing well! Simblreen is fun so far, everyone trick or treating! Got a ton of goodies so far and I have not been disappointed once! Everyone makes such good CC. I wish I could participate, but it’d be lame probably so I won’t lol.
In other news, I updated my mod compatibility page for the sims 4, and I am going to share an updated mod that is listed there soon! (Not the careers though, having issues with them atm.)
