Weekly #UpdateBoycott's
The first boycott we did on the 9th of September was a huge success! Lot's and lot's of people participated and If we continue boycotting it will get more and more attention.
I think we should keep the weekly boycott on the same day as the last one so people don't get confused. Every Wednesday 12am EST - Thursday 12am (24 hours) we will boycott until staff understands that we are a community that deserves to be listened to!

staff we didn't join tumblr so that it could end up like Facebook. The look of individual comments is unnecessary and and, quite frankly, an eyesore. We all loved the old comment set-up because it was unique. And, contrary to whatever old-school boss of updates you have, it was actually readable. I understand that since Yahoo had bought out tumblr, you’ve all been wanting to make various changes to show your ownership or input to the website. However, some things are better left unchanged. We understand that you have a different idea of what it should be, but the young adults (the majority of tumblr) and other users on this website are perfectly capable of reading a layout that isn't blockish. The majority of us probably aren’t a bunch of forty-five year old Facebook moms trying to connect with our children through their favorite website. So please stop trying to make changes to tumblr on the notion that it would make it easier for a smaller demographic to utilize it. By changing something so unique about your website, and then deciding not to listen to your users’ complaints, you're mindlessly losing the people who used to cheer on tumblr the most.
Boycott over but I'm not happy
So my boycott of tumblr staff is over but I'm still not happy with the new layout. I'm going to look for a new site and I will be under a form of my pseudonym kittysass. If the layout returns then I will stay on tumblr and as always I will keep you guys posted on where I am in case you want to find me.
