Sometimes, the information that we get from the internet is not updated. Like this one, while articles in 2015 and mid 2016 said Don Quijote Asakusa has a 'halal corner' for muslim friendly souvenirs, the staff said it doesn't exist anymore. I previously assumed Don Quijote will also provide halal corner in another branch of its store since everybody tells halal tourism is warming up in Japan. But the fact is the muslim friendly souvenirs get more limited. I couldn't find it in Asakusa, as well as in its branch in Akihabara. So, this post dedicated to announce you that NO MORE MUSLIM FRIENDLY SOUVENIRS SPOT in Don Quijote Asakusa. Should you need to buy halal souvenirs, maybe you can check the other stores like Laox in Akihabara, a small shop in Nakamise Street (i do not know the name, it is near the gate to the train station), or even in Narita Airport i slightly saw halal-written in somewhere.. Giving information via blog, or whatever, may be amazingly helpful for others. If you have some experience in your life, i suggest you shared it. Thank youu :) #halaljapan #muslimfriendly #donquijoteasakusa #updatedinfo #nolongeravailable
