Update your photos, please!?
I'm assuming that because Tinder sources your profile photos from Facebook, most guys don't actually look like they do on Tinder as they do in real life.
Unless they are narcissists or have a friend that is adamant about putting current photos of them up for the world to see in a timely fashion, we all have to be really careful about who we're really looking at.
FACTS:
1. Guys are less likely to have updated photos of themselves on Tinder.
2. Girls are more likely of having updated photos of themselves on Tinder.
Girls are and always have been under an immense amount of pressure to always "look good." These days, we also feel that we have to maintain our online profiles and personas to match our real-life ones. This translates into an unnecessary amount of filtered selfies and Facebook uploads.
Are females more truthful than males? Are we just more self-obsessed? Perhaps more detail oriented?
I'm not saying that guys don't care about their appearance, but I am saying that the majority of girls care way more.
Regardless of your sex, please be sure to keep your photos updated when using dating apps/ sites. No one likes to be lied to.
