With my former student, UP Fighting Maroon (1991-1996) Ian R. Sanchez from Butuan City. Not many people know that Butuan has given UP, not just a new university president (newly installed UP President Jijil Jimenez). The city has also given UP some of its prized athletes—Ian, Jun Manzo, and JD Cagulangan, to name a few. The UP Fighting Maroons will face the Ateneo Blue Eagles at 4 pm (Saturday, 26 March 2022) at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The game will be closed to the public. Instead, it can be viewed via Cignal Cable’s UAAP Channel 263, One Sports Channel 59 on Free TV or online streaming via cignal play.
