Chegou mesmo. Carregado por tantas experiências incríveis dos últimos dias, que parecem trazer Hendrix ainda mais perto da gente. E aquilo tudo que a gente carregava só no coração da gente no Rio, parece aqui ter tomado espaço e tempo.
O palco está montado. O piano, as guitarras, os pedais e o amplificador estão lá. Parecem que sempre estiveram - aquele é o lugar deles. É bonito de admirar. É a nossa hora.
O show foi incrível. O público inglês, temido pela exigência, foi extremamente amável e acolhedor. Ora, dois jovens brasileiros - um casal, que petulância! - resolvem tocar Hendrix, no dia do aniversário da sua morte e em Londres? Muita audácia... :) Mas uma audácia abraçada por Londres, afinal, quer cidade mais ousada que essa?
Obrigado, Londres. Muito, muito, muito obrigado, Jimi. A essa altura do campeonato, já estamos mais que íntimos. Devemos a você vivências que mudaram as nossas vidas.

It came indeed. And surrounded by so many incredible experiences of the last days, which seem to bring Hendrix even closer to us. And all that we carried only in our hearts in Rio, here seems to have taken space and time.
To get inside The Troubadour, a pub that was established in 1954, attended by Hendrix in the late 60s and untouched since then, it is pretty much alike getting into the DeLorean (anyone here is not a fan of Back to the Future?). The feeling is that, at any time, any of those amazing characters from English rock scene of the 60/70s will come through the door. Oh, the swinging London ...
The stage is set. The piano, guitars, pedals and amplifier are there. They seem to have always been there - that's their place. It's beautiful to stare at. It is our time.
The show was amazing. The British public, known by its high standards of criticism, was extremely kind and welcoming. Come one! Two young Brazilians - a couple, what a petulance! - decide to play Hendrix, on the anniversary of his death and in London? A lot of audacity ... :) But a boldness embraced by London, after all, is there a city bolder than this one?
Thank you, London. Thank you very, very much, Jimi. At this late date, we are more than intimate. We owe you all these experiences that changed our lives.
