Product update‼️ The new Twilight Sunsets are completely SOLD OUT thanks to #UpgradeXP2019! • • We initially did a small test run on this new style, and we were blown away by the response over the past couple of weeks and at the conference. Seriously, thanks to all of you who came by our booth to test out the new gradient lenses for yourselves! 🙏 • • For those of you that haven’t yet but are interested in purchasing this new style, we are still taking orders, but please note that the Twilight Sunsets are currently back-ordered. • • We are working hard to get the second production run going ASAP. PSA: orange lensed blue blockers block TOO much blue during the day time and not enough junk light at night time‼️ • • Your body needs different amounts of light exposure throughout the day (and night) in order to keep your circadian rhythm on track. The sun produces natural blue light that alert your brain and body to wake up and start your day in the morning; and as the sun descends, your body naturally gets ready to wind down and go to sleep. The problem is that in today's world, we have lights on 24/7/365. Overexposure to artificial junk light from LEDs and fluorescents confuses our bodies, so we don't biologically know what time of day it really is. • • During the daytime, the optimal amount of blue light to block is 75%. At night time, you want to block as close to 100% of blue, green AND violet light in order to promote higher quality sleep. • • Orange lenses block waaaayyy too much blue during the daytime and can cause you to feel tired/less alert. (Your boss won't be happy if you're sleeping on the job.) Similarly, they aren't as effective as blocking out ALL of the junk light as red lenses are during night time.
