Some of you might know that Robert’s birthday is this coming Thursday, April 14th. Now most people want to trend #HappyBirthdayRobertCarlyle but that’s pretty generic. And he is rarely on Twitter so chances are, he will never see it. We should do something special, something that’s special to Robert himself.

Many of you know that Robert is one of the patrons at Statue for Benny Lynch campaign; Benny Lynch was a Scottish professional boxer who fought in the flyweight division.

Statue for Benny Lynch is raising money to erect a statue in Benny Lynch’s honour in the Glasgow area. Now, I am not asking you to donate $100 or your entire paycheck but maybe $1, $2 or even $5 to help them reach their goal! When you donate make sure to include your name and a short message saying that this is honoring Robert’s birthday or anything that you want to say.

Let’s bring a smile on Robert’s face and show him how much his fans appreciate his work.
