But ahhh....

I guess the number one reason why I love him is how he tricks himself. He builds this life of being number one, of being the one who other's envy, and lives his life very day-to-day as though he doesn't expect there to be a tomorrow. 

While beneath it all. Beneath the illusions and the happiness there is a pain. A sense of beaten self-worth as though he doesn't see himself worthy of any type of love because in the end that love will betray you. He can't even love himself but he can freely give this physical love to others to fill the void that exists within him due to that lack of emotional love. 

But the problem is no matter how much physical love he gets it is never enough. 

He is forever running from the truth that this life he lives is slowly destroying him
