To say Gyutaro was confused is a understatement.

The first time you started following him around, he tried to kill you.

He wondered why you continued to linger around him, didn't you just see him eat that guy over there?

In any case, he couldn't bring himself to kill you.

When he was ready to swing and end your existence, he locked eyes with you, and he saw ume in them.

The state of vulnerability you were in reminded him of how he protected ume for all their years, wether as a demon or human.

And because he let you live, you never once left his side.

But its not like you had a choice either, once he was attached to you, there was no going back.

Hes overly possessive as well, never letting you talk to anyone but him or daki.

Of course, there were times he threatened you, but you never once gave in or ran away.

Never once.

He's shocked that you didn't immediately turn away from his, what he's labeled as his "disgusting completion"

Its kinda like the younger siblings admiring the older one for guidance and wisdom cliche.

At first daki wasn't to fond of you.

She called you a hindrance, and that you were a nuisance to master musan's plans.

Although hes never usually one to go against her wishes, he managed to keep you.

And the more you were around, the more you grew closer with daki as well.

Eventually growing to best friends, she complied to let you stay around them with no further complaints.

"C'mon squirt, lets go back home, ok?" gyutaro said. All that was heard from you was a high toned 'mhm'. Daki began to sturr up some complaints such as, "that fight took to looong..." or "my feet are killing me" but she quickly shut up when you began to hold her hand a muttering something like, "im sorry... Here you goes.." no complaints were further mentioned as you three walked to where ever you were currently staying, a small smile founded on all of your faces.

Feel like he deserved better, if u think about it, he is only rude because his mother was aggressive and passive to him. He never got what a kid needed. So he doesn't understand what it is like to be loving or kind.
