It’s reallllllly hard not to overshare about the #uprisinginDR trip. You have GOT to hear them share once they’re back. But here are some highlights so far: . The weather has matched (and dare I say been NICER than) ours here in KC. They have that ocean breeze we crave dearly here in the Midwest! . They got to swim in the pool. (Seems trivial but...Madea Hallelu-yer!) We were told this wouldn’t be an option and, c’mon…take high schoolers to the DR, put them up in a super nice hotel and tell them they can’t use the pool?! They were in heaven! . Everyone has been well!!! Keep praying for this and that they continue to successfully avoid contaminated water/food. We want God to use ALL of them to their fullest while there. . Every single student has led *at least* one person to the Lord. Monday-Wednesday from dawn until dusk (literally) they are sharing the gospel and investing in the people of the DR. Medical clinic + evangelism in the AM. VBS in the PM. This trip isn’t for the faint of heart! [[Prayer partners are praying for “Patient Endurance” today.]] .
