Jo March character in Little Women: “Women, they have minds, and they have souls, as well as just hearts. And they’ve got ambition, and they’ve got talent, as well as just beauty. I’m so sick of people saying that love is just all a woman is fit for. I’m so sick of it!” When I listened to Saoirse Ronan talk about how the male characters were so in touch with the women, I stood up and said, “Yes!” The women didn’t try to fix or rescue or change the men, they were in an environment where they were free to express their soul #littlewomen #siff #uptowncinema https://www.instagram.com/p/B6kH64rh5Hl/?igshid=xpt54vat7scm
