Awesome Mixing Tip!!! #Repost @ableton.expert with @repostapp. ・・・ #upwardcompression raises the level of low signals. #Ableton #MultibandDynamics can alter #Dynamics of a signal in 4 different ways: #DownwardCompression UpwardCompression, #DownwardExpansion and #UpwardExpantion. Upward compression can be used to enhance the amplitude of a signal that is dying (#delay for example), as the signal drops below the threshold the upward comp will jump in and increase the amplitude of the signal based on the ratio, attack and release that you set. Attack and Release time is the key to a successful compression so experiment and find the sweetspot of your signal! #AbletonLive's user manual has a good explanation of #DynamicProcessingTheory and can help you understand compression better!
