This can be due to identifying as both a man, or masculine gender, and a woman or feminine gender, and identifying more with the term gay, being genderfluid and still identifying as gay even when your gender is female or feminine, having a gender identity that falls between a transgender man and a cisgender butch woman, having a gender identity that falls between being a transgender woman and a gender non-conforming cisgender man, being a masculine-aligned woman, or being a feminine-aligned man.
