About every 7 to 8 years Uranus squares the North Node. This isn't a "rare" event (as much of the mainstream astrology folks would want you to believe), but one that doesn't happen every year. So it's good to take advantage of it's power.

This square features Uranus in Gemini and the North Node in Pisces (as well as a square to the South Node in Virgo) at 2°. 2° is the Cancer ruled degree that invites you to examine how you feel.

Overall, I see this square as a time to show you your inner fire, and more specifically about walking away from the "fire" that's going on in the world.

Basically, ignore the dumpster fires the world loves to ignite and align with your own inner fire.

And I'm seeing a lot of people who are starting to "turn off" the world and all of its chaos. And then they can't ignore their inner chaos.

Inner chaos will motivate you to find relief.

This square is the invitation to find that relief in the higher principles or ideals that guide your life, and not in the temporary and carnal ways of the world. That might be your faith/religion, it could be a set of basic principles that guide your life.

But it's the invitation to redirect your attention - and inner fire - to something less chaotic. Something more calming, and life-affirming.

Noise. Noise. Noise. That is what the world is offering today. And the astrology community will have you believing that today's square is offering you the same, those are the same astrologers who don't understand the "innovative" nature of Uranus.

Innovate today by walking away from the chaos. And walk toward your inner fire.

Some people within evolutionary astrology consider squares to the lunar nodes as “skipped steps”; lessons you struggled to complete in a past life and are now forced to address in this life with heavier karmic debt. With nodal squares, there can be these frustrating or even painful repeated themes/scenarios that are continuously brought up in the native’s life, often to their dismay, but they keep cropping up to nudge you to fulfill your karmic lessons in this life (square NN) since you failed to do so in the past (SN); there’s a real sense of urgency here which is only intensified when Uranus is involved. Uranus square the Nodes suggests that the part of you that wants to rebel was contained or suppressed in some way, likely due to societal mores and expectations (check the house placements to see where this played out). You may have felt that you were not ‘allowed’ to be outspoken about your beliefs and ideals in the past, or perhaps you had tense dynamics with authority figures. Regardless, there’s a lot of restlessness within you, especially when you have to resist social expectations in some way, there could be a wariness in expressing contrary opinions and so on but there is a serious need to ‘break free’ and you may be constantly pushed in situations where you have to speak up/rebel against expectations which may be uncomfortable, but to achieve your soul’s destiny you must allow this part of you to express itself as smoothly and constructively as possible, even if it feels awkward. Conversely, you may have felt so 'chained’ in the past that you overcompensate in this life by being overtly disagreeable or contrary, even when it doesn’t make rational sense or it enables prejudice in your worldview. In this case, you’d have to work on being more constructive with your innovation/progressive suggestions in order to attract agreement/similar minded individuals instead of the opposition you always seem to get.
