Umbriel is named after a gnome character in a poem by Alexander Pope, and in it, gnomes are supposed to be women who are prudish and such, but Umbriel is always given he/him pronouns so... Trans Gnome?

there is a stark contrast between our pictures of Saturn's moons and Uranus' moons. It was a bit of a downgrade looking from the mostly clean, high-quality Saturnian moon pictures to the grainy pictures of the Uranian moons....can we go back to the outer solar system to get some good pictures? I mean, not just of Uranus' moons, but Neptune's moons, any other Kuiper Belt object other than the Plutonian system and Arrokoth.... pleasepleaseplease

so we basically don't know shit about the Uranian moons apart from what we can see. Titania's not very physically impressive, to be honest. I don't think we even know what its entire surface looks like (and I believe that's true of all Uranus' round moons). However, orbital characteristics come in clutch to add a dash of spice to the Uranian system. We all know Uranus has an axial tilt of almost 90 degrees. This makes seasons on Uranus very extreme. But, the round moons orbit at Uranus' equator, so they share this extreme orbital tilt. So not only do the poles get more insolation than the equator, there is a large swing in temperature between seasons at the poles. Titania has carbon dioxide frost on its surface, and it has been suggested that the carbon dioxide can migrate over the surface of the planet with the seasons. That's very swag! Although I don't think it's exclusive to Titania. We need to go back to Uranus so bad 😔

At least Uranian moons have the Shakespeare (and The Rape of The Lock by Alexander Pope) naming gimmick. It's rather fresh when I've been slogging through Greco-Roman names most of the time, even if one of the names bears a very close resemblance *balls fists*

Titania is a rather stylish lady. She is very confident in herself, and acts in a rather grandiose manner, commanding respect from the smaller moons. She has people's best interests in mind, but is honest first and foremost, which can lead to her making some rather cutting statements at times. She gets along well with Uranus - generally the Uranian system is much closer than the previous gas planet systems (probably due to there being a smaller number of them), and they will all cuddle up together :)
