Gif Headcanons #1- TouRabu Ships Dancing

KiyoYasu/Anmitsu/Okitagumi

Pretty much canon, yes. When they haven’t choreographed anything, I can imagine their dancing is a little something like the above gif; full of energy and laughing off blunders. These two are so sweet.

KaneHori/Hijikatagumi

Height differences ftw. Despite being a painfully obvious couple to the rest of the danshi, these two strike me as a pair who keep their intimacies behind closed doors; with Horikawa being a flustered bean and Izuminokami being too proud to display any kind of affection publicly and risk facing teasing remarks from his comrades.

TsuruIchi

I interpret these two as quite a casual, fun-loving couple considering Tsurumaru’s spontaneous nature and Ichigo’s generally outgoing attitude. Situations such as the above occur somewhat frequently when Tsurumaru literally tries to sweep the tachi off his feet in an attempt to fluster him. Sometimes his tantou brothers like to join in too. Expect lots of laughter with these two.

HeshiSou

I feel like any kind of formal pair dance such as ballroom or waltz would suit these two and I’m not entirely sure why; I certainly know Souza’s obsession with grace and beauty plays into this, and I feel Hasebe’s focus on rules and strict guidelines would make him a natural. They strike me as quite an intense couple, considering their troubled pasts.

KogiMika

These jijis don’t move very fast when they don’t need to, bless them; and they wouldn’t have it any other way. These two really do act like an old married couple as they slow dance; quietly humming and exchanging tender forehead pecks in the quietness of their room, the tea nearby left long forgotten.

Shokunba

A criminally underrated ship, imo. Moments like this are most likely to occur when Shokudaikiri and Yamanbagiri find themselves alone in the citadel’s kitchen. Lot’s of reassurance is needed on Shoku’s part as he fails to hide a smile at the uchigatana’s flustered expression before he buries it into the crook of his neck. 

UraShiou

A very enthusiastic (and underrated) pairing to finish off with; full of laughter and Kamekichi clinging for dear life on Urashima’s shoulder. Moments like these are very common with the two, especially as greeting upon reunion when one returns from a particularly long sortie or expedition. These sunshine babs’ antics put a smile on everyone’s faces.
