A guy in a kilt just passed me on his way to the trough urinal.  Now I'm abnormally curious if kilts have a fly or do you just pull the whole thing up when you're taking a leak... but I'm not ready to go back into the bathroom for the sole purpose of observing another man peeing.  I'm just not.

There is a painting crew working away in the hallway on my floor and amidst an incessant stream of Spanish I hear someone on a much louder voice say  "Sufferin Succotash!" and then a commotion.  WTF?  Wasn't it Daffy Duck that used to say that?

An interesting week

Just had one of the more exciting weeks of my year. Got lazy and took a taxi one day and a truck did a hit&run on us which led to a high speed chase through downtown Seattle. The next day the shipboard alarms on the ferry went off and they launched their rescue boat to investigate a ship that was almost totally sunk. On my walk after the ferry I got to see a wind gust tear a hipster's trendy vintage hat off and send it across 4 lanes of traffic where it got pummeled by multiple vehicles while he sat there with a look of horror on his face. Topped the whole week off by getting a $40 seat to a brewmasters dinner and beer pairing for free. Ummm yeahhhh I'll take it.
