The last of our Apple crop is still on the tree. This is a Scarlet Columnar apple tree that is 10 years old. It produces crisp sweet eating (as opposed to baking) apples that are the last to ripen every year. They keep until almost Christmas in the fridge. This is one of our 7 verities of apples at the house.
