Jar Spell to protect American Minorities

Intent: To protect minorities in America from Trump and his supporters

Ingredients: 

a jar

purple, white, and black papers

something to write with

purple, red, white, blue, and black string

Optional:

beads - bonus if they’re made of a crystal you associate with protection, peace, unity, etc.

white candle for freedom and safety

pink candle for love

As many of the following as possible:

lavender - peace, protection

cinnamon - peace, promoting change

angelica - protection, banishing negativity

eggshell - protection

aloe vera - protection, community

cloves - banishing, love, protection

any other herbs that you associate with protection

Optional: Cast a circle, call on deities, etc.

Light the candles.

Draw an American flag and tape it to the inside of the lid of the jar.

Write the names of the groups you want to protect (women, poc, lgbt, etc) on small pieces of the white, purple, and black papers. If you are using beads, remember the number of papers you used, you will need it later.

Put the papers in the jar one by one, focusing on protecting each group as you put them in. Put herbs in the jar and think about what you want each individual herb to do or what they mean to you as you put them in the jar.

Close the jar. Put a sigil on top of the lid if you want. Drip wax on it if you want.

Wrap white, black, and purple string around the jar for protection and community. This way, you are keeping the people on the inside safe and making a “barrier” to protect them and keep them together as a community.

Count as many of the beads as there are papers. Divide them as evenly as possible in three and put them on the red, white, and blue strings. These colours represent the American flag. Weave them together so the groups are a tight community. He will not divide us.

Charge however you want. I wrote this spell a while ago and charged it under the supermoon but you can charge it with moonlight, sunlight, crystals, anything!! The spell is broken when the jar is cleaned (and cleansed) out.

Works best if preformed on a Tuesday during a waxing moon. Blessed be.

Interview with M (Jakos Sublime)

Hello, everyone!  My Jakos Sublime from @littleluchaos​ is going to be joining us for our interview tonight!

ME:  Hello!  How are you tonight?

M:  I’m well, thank you for asking~!

ME:  What should we call you through the interview?

M:  How about super playboy rock star hottie?

ME:  Uhm…something shorter, Playboy.

M:  Fiiiiine!  M is fine.

ME:  Okay, M.  Our first question for you is what do you eat?

M:  Oh, that’s easy!  I eat -

ME:  PG-13!

M:  What’s that?

ME:  Child-friendly, please.

M:  *grin*  Oh, you’re ruining the fun of this.  Fine, then!  I’ll be nice for now.  I like sweets.  I also love the taste of alcohol of any kind.  Unlike Foxxy here, who doesn’t allow me the privilege very often at all.

ME:  Rub it in - you know I hate the taste!  I can drink very few types of alcohol, and at least I tried to drink Bud Lite at the holiday party!

M:  Yes, and that has hardly any taste!  And it was only half a can!

ME:  We’re not here to argue about alcohol…

M:  Then why haven’t you asked the next question.  *smirk*

ME:  Oh, hush, you!

M:  I thought the point of this was to talk about myself?  Alcohol is important to me!

ME:  What makes you happy -

M:  Alcohol.

ME:  - and keeps you entertained?

M:  Partying, alcohol, stimulants of various types, and I certainly entertain myself by flirting.  So much fun to be had making Foxxy blush…

ME:  Ugh.  You’re going to be the death of me.  The next question is how did you enter contact with me and why did you choose to work with me?

M:  Well, Lady Lu was looking for a Sublime to go with Foxxy and I stepped forward.  She has such drab interests, so I figured she’d be fun to mess with!  In truth, it kinda balances out because I have to be a bit more subdued in my interests where she has branched out some because of me!

ME:  How do you see humans in a general way?

M:  Blind, to a degree.  I experience the world in an entirely different way, where I cannot see without sound and music.  So it is completely true that I find humanity to be lacking, because they don’t take the time to appreciate what they have and where they are.  Even in your case, I find that there are times where you don’t appreciate how far away from the start you are, lamenting on how far you are from the finish.  Humans, while very interesting, also have a very negative view on life and the world in general.

ME:  What is your favorite part of hanging out with me?

M:  That’s such an open question with so many answers.  *grin*

ME:  PG-13!

M:  Oh, come on!  There’s nothing that terribly horrible we’ve done.  I like seeing you come out of your shell.  You’re so reserved and you don’t talk to people, but when I’m around, I see you approaching others and being a better functioning human being.  Not to mention flirting with you is incredibly fun.

ME:  Bah!

M:  Really!  You’re adorable when you blush.

ME:  *blush*  Shut up!

M:  Awh, there it is!

ME:  Okay, okay!  I think that’s all the questions I’ve received.

M:  Awwwww!  But this was fun!

ME:  When I finish all the volunteers, I’ll cycle back around and you can talk to everyone again?

M:  Okay, I guess that’ll work…

ME:  Say goodbye to everyone!

Good Luck Charm

This spell will banish bad luck and create a charm, bracelet (not in this picture but there is one below the cut), or talisman to bring good luck. It is easy to do and the ingredients are simple, common household items. The spell is very long so you may preform it over the course of two days or skip the banishing part entirely if you would like to. Directions under the cut.

Banishing Bad Luck

You will need:

a paper

something to write with

(optional) a candle, preferably black

Steps:

Draw the sigil below or any symbol to represent bad luck. 

Burn it or if you do not have a candle, destroy it in any way possible. Rip it up, stomp on it, put it in the blender, whatever. Just destroy it. If you used the sigil, this will charge it. If you used the symbol this will destroy its influence.

Say either “I banish bad luck now and forever. I shed no tears upon the parting.” or the longer and more poetic, “today is not my day, everything has gone astray, to keep me sane, to keep the peace, bad luck coming my way shall cease, I banish pain, I banish sorrow, God and Goddess bless my tomorrow.” If your practice is more secular, you can modify the last line and say “let me have good luck tomorrow”.

If you are able to bury the remains far away from your property, do it. Say, “Bad luck will go deep in the ground, From now on good luck will follow me around.” 

If you cannot: go far away from your property and blow away the remains. Say, “Bad luck is far away, good luck will come today.”

Now for the actual charm

The charm is a bracelet or talisman to attract good luck. It will be created with herbs and homemade clay.

Ingredients:

2 parts flour

1 part salt 

1 part herbs and spices mixture

warm water until satisfied with consistency 

The herb mixture will be anything that you associate with luck, such as cinnamon, chamomile, allspice, myrrh, cloves, dandelion, nutmeg, sandalwood, star anise, thyme, poppy, pomegranate, turmeric, and mistletoe. Grind as many of these together as possible. 

As you are grinding the herbs say,“herbs of earth fill my life with light, bring me good luck in day and night, this spell is seeped in magic and mystery, make my bad luck a thing of history.”

Mix together all the dry ingredients then add the warm water until you are satisfied with the texture of the clay. Should you accidentally put too much water, add more flour. 

Shape the clay into anything that represents good luck to you. In the picture, I made four leaf clovers, turtles, the word luck, and ladybugs. The turtles have 7 scales each and the ladybugs have 7 spots each. You can even make them into beads and wear them as a bracelet. Here are some more symbols for good luck. When you are done shaping them, say,”This charm is a magnet for all things good, the beholder will attract luck as they should, may positive energy always surround it, may it bring luck for all around it.”

Leave them to dry in the sun for a few days or bake them at 200°F for several hours. If you want to, paint them when they have dried. Green and gold are lucky colours.

Through the Veil Challenge Day 2

Write down 5 goals you have for the next year. They don’t have to be big. Can spirit work help you with these in any way? How?

1) Break the plateau I seem to be at in terms of weight (is that proper english...?)

2) Re-establish contracts where needed and strengthen them.

3) Actually work on my grimoire and my craft -.-”

4) Either go back to school or lay the groundwork to get to that point.

5) Get tested for various concerns and hopefully get put on medication.

Spirit work could definitely help with a few of those (they’re like those friends/family members who give you “the look” when you’re about to stray from your goals until you get back on track lol.) And actually Spirit Work is the point of numbers two and three so...
